China signs cultural cooperation agreement with Senegal

Meanwhile China and Senegal have signed a cultural cooperation agreement in an effort to intensify cultural cooperation between the two countries. The agreement was signed by the Chinese Vice Culture minister, Ding Wei, and the Senegalese minister of Culture and Communication, Mbagnick Ndiaye, in the Senegalese capital, Dakar. China also donated office equipment for the Senegalese Ministry of Culture. Wei said that increased visits by leaders from both countries will help cement further cooperation between the two countries as well as maintain strong diplomatic ties.
