Police Investigate Bricks Thrown at Cars

DAYTON -- The Dayton Police Department is asking for help in identifying three suspects accused of throwing bricks at moving cars. The two reports came in after 5 a.m. Wednesday off Troy Street at Avondale Drive. Dennis Bucklew said he was driving down Old Troy Pike from Huber Heights when he saw three younger suspects standing at a bus stop, "and then as soon as I got by there they all three chucked at the same time," he said. Bucklew had damage to his 2002 Ford Explorer -- his passenger side mirror, hood of his car and part of his windshield were smashed. "I would be very alert," said Bucklew, warning other drivers. Dayton police say the suspects took off towards a trailer park off Troy Street. Its unclear the age of the suspects. The only information police have is one suspect had on a bright orange sweater.
