AU officially launches continents domain

The African continent has finally gotten its own generic Top Level Domain (gTLD) named dot Africa. It is hoped that it will give Africa an opportunity to forge a unique online identity which will associate products, services and information with the continent and people of Africa. It took about 8 years to make the dot Africa project a story of success. Both the incoming and the outgoing chairpersons of the AU commission have launched this important initiative. CGTN's Girum Chala reports.
