The Bytes was a California new wave band. The album is a stellar record with shared male/female lead vocals, however it has a serious problem, it's too short. The band was fronted by the gorgeous and talented Cat Bagley. She & the Bytes often played at the Sandpiper in Laguna Beach and at Rumplestiltskin's Restaurant & Nightclub in Newport Beach. She and the band were also employed at Disneyland for 11 years, playing in Tomorrowland Terrace under the name Voyager. Sadly in January 1992 Cat Bagley died in her Laguna Beach home after a two-year struggle with brain cancer. She was 34. Other band members were Cat's brother "Tom Bagley" (Keyboards, Vocals), Stefan Hillstrom(Guitar Vocals), Bob Perdew (Bass Vocals) & Phil Smith (Drums)
