The Fans was a new wave band and released one LP and then pulled the plugs. The band was fronted by Bill Schuh (Guitar, Vocals) & Mark Dux (Bass Guitar, Vocals) with Jeff Mueller (Keyboards) & Gary Kowalski (Drums, Electronic Drums). The album was recorded in two different NYC studios but the original of band is kind of unknown. Some say they were from Ontario, Canada but I think I'd go with those who say they were from NYC. Lynette LaSpiza. sings on the gorgeous new wave song "Love Me Like A Stranger". Overall it's a very cool new wave album and the influence of The Cars & Talking Heads is obvious.
