Just last year, Zenaida Moya, who was the then national coordinator of the Queen of the Bay pageant, was fired on national television during the coronation of the seventy-second queen. There were two young ladies simultaneously crowned at the tenth of September 2017 ceremony. So today, when we caught up Moya at the pageant launch, she was asked whether the selection, sans a pageant, was transparently done. Here’s how she responded.
