Friends celebrate life of mother, 9-year-old son killed in shooting

BURLINGTON, Ky. (WKRC) - Friends came together to celebrate the lives of a woman and her 9-year-old son who were murdered.

Kelli Kramer and her son Aiden were shot and killed at their Burlington apartment on March 20.

Kelli's close friend organized the event because she doesn't want anyone to forget Kelli and Aiden.

"We still don't know what happened," Amanda Warren said. "We want to know why but I want her family to be taken care of. I don't want her family to have to worry about a thing."

"This is all for Kelli and Aiden. We want to celebrate their life. They were gorgeous people."

All the proceeds from the benefit will go to Kelli and Aiden's family.

There's a $2,500 wheel of justice reward paid out through CrimeStoppers.
