The World Economic Forum, scheduled from Tuesday until Friday, brings together about 3 000 world leaders from business, government, international organisations, academia and civil society to discuss the global economy. Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa is leading an SA delegation on behalf of President Jacob Zuma, to the World Economic Forum meeting in Davos, Switzerland. Team South Africa briefed the World Economic Forum today. They highlighted the work that the country has been doing towards inclusive economic growth and reducing the high unemployment rate in the country. Team South Africa has been trying to convince the investor community that it is committed to boosting growth and dealing with some of the domestic challenges.
