NORTHRIDGE - At approximately 2349, LAFD and LAPD responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a hydrant. Arriving units found a TC with a sheared hydrant, shooting about 30 feet into the air. Firefighters shut the hydrant off in about 15 minutes. The cause of the crash is unknown. LAPD Valley Traffic is handling the incident.
