A teenage girl is stalked by something deeply sinister in this unnerving horror movie with a chilling twist. Carefree Detroit 19-year-old Jay (Maika Monroe) makes the biggest mistake of her young life when she's seduced by Hugh (Jake Weary). He promptly ties her to a chair and explains that he has passed on a curse. From now on, she will be pursued relentlessly by a supernatural shape-shifter which can take the zombie-like form of friends or strangers. It won't stop until she is dead. And only way to distance herself from this terror is to pass on the hex by sleeping with someone else! A hit at Cannes and the London Film Festival, David Robert Mitchell's stylish, suspenseful horror film taps into deep-seated fears. Its mounting sense of dread driven by a haunting electronic score, this is a film that gets under your skin in the tradition of 'Ring' and John Carpenter's original 'Halloween'.
