Tharaka Nithi County Director of procurement Lawrence Mutembei was grilled by EACC detectives following his arrest for allegedly soliciting a 50,000 shilling bribe. EACC detectives pounced on him after laying a trap following a complaint from a youthful contractor who claimed he had demanded a bribe to offer him a tender.
