Hey guys, Mike Martins here from the Mike Martins Channel!

It's January 20th, 2016, and I'm back with another Vancouver weather update because I've had people asking me what the winter has been like out here.

It's around 10 or 11 in the morning. I've already gone for my jog, taken my shower, and I'm ready to start the day.

And outside? It feels absolutely gorgeous!

I'm estimating around 14–15°C where I am. I might actually fire up the barbecue today!

One thing I keep noticing is that I'll look at the weather forecast and it'll say something like 5°C or 6°C, but then I'll actually walk outside and it feels considerably warmer. I'm not trying to stage anything—I'm simply showing you guys what I'm experiencing here in Vancouver.

Yes, we get rain. It's Vancouver. But from my experience, it doesn't rain nearly as constantly as some people make it sound.

Today the sun is coming out, I'll probably take the dog for a walk, take my son to the park, check in with the employees at the shop and maybe even wash the car.

Nothing complicated. Just another beautiful January day on the West Coast.

So there's your January 20th, 2016 Vancouver weather report from meteorologist Mike Martins!
