A Foiled Robbery in the City; Businessman Shoots at Robbers

On Sunday night, sometime just before nine-thirty, police were called out to the business establishment where they found Chester Humes, an employee of the store, with a gunshot wound to the left arm. Police say that two robbers entered the store and one of them attempted to shoot the storeowner, but the gun snapped. The businessman then fired several shots with his licensed firearm, one of which is believed to have hit Humes. Police say that the Chinese businessman is not expected to be charged as the shooting was accidental.
