The power of darkness started to work in Latika's life, her neighbor did some black magic on her and because of that she would be sick always. If she used to eat anything, like even a small biscuit she would vomit twice or thrice. Her food pipe (esophagus) dried up and she went to many doctors for the treatment but they were not able to treat her. Desperate for healing, Latika Jadhav drifted further more as she took the wrong step.   
There were people who suggested her to go to the person who performed black magic. He gave her a Tawiz and told her the day she remove it she will die. 

Latika lost her way in life and was unable to come out of it. Troubles just seemed to follow Latika. This time her husband was affected with tuberculosis. When he was affected with TB she was broken, at that time her kids were very small. She was completely broken because their condition was really bad. No relative came forward to help them, even her mom and dad; her in-laws also didn't turn up. During that time they were even struggling for money.

Though by faith Latika was Christian she forgot that Jesus can help. Often she would worry about her children. In this hopeless situation Jesus intervened in Latika's life and showed that he cared for her. One day her children while playing dropped one box from the top of a cupboard. The box had some books in it and while she was putting all the books back she got a testimony book in that box. She took the book and started reading it ... it said cancer got healed, many people with different problems were healed.

Encouraged by reading the book she went into a room and then cried and prayed to Jesus. At that moment she felt peace and felt that some one has strengthen her. Latika's prayers were answered; things began to change in her life. Her situation started to change, her husband's health started to improve all because of prayers and they started exercising their faith and believed that the savior has come to save them. 

Overwhelmed to see Jesus work in her life Latika accepted him as her personal savior. 
She was healed and decided to take baptism. Today Latika and her husband minister at children's home and live each day for Jesus Christ. She says, "I am into ministry now because I had promised God that if he saves me I will serve him. I will use my life for his glory and God has brought me to this children's ministry. I want to thank God because he has brought me out of all the pain and suffering. He has saved me from all the shame and humiliation and that's why I want to thank God for He is good."
