This is a video recap of a kayak catfishing trip on the Tennessee River on 4-2-17. We were trolling on Watts Bar. TVA was not generating while we were there so there was no current. We fished a variety of structures and depths. Fish were sporadic and the bite was slow but we managed to catch some blue cats and a nice striper as well. It made for fun weekend. All of the blue cats were caught on suspended baits. The striper came on a dragging rod. We were using cut skipjack for bait. All fish were CPR.
