Video recap of a kayak catfishing trip on Watts Bar 4-19-17. I started out drifting. TVA was only pushing 11k cfs at Fort Loudon dam but the wind was blowing down stream so I was able to use it to propel me. I was fishing with 4 rods. I had two baited with cut skipjack and two baited with live bluegill. On my first pass along a drop-off, I landed a nice blue catfish. Unfortunately, that was it for the day. I made a few more passes along the same drop off before trying some different structures. The wind died down in the afternoon so I was forced to troll the rest of the day. I didn't get anymore fish but I did get to see a pretty incredible Tennessee River sunset which is a great way to top off any fishing trip.
