Enjoy the process, enjoy the journey, learn. Some of the most valuable lessons we get about life and being are through scenarios like this - you know, aiming for things we want - be in building a career path or building a business. You're probably wondering, "When you want something so bad, how can you enjoy it?" For me, it's definitely a practice. I've been in COUNTLESS situations where I've wanted my fate to be decided by one job. I've wanted my life to change because of one job application, or perhaps just wanted get something to have some sort of validation of my skills and ability to be part of something bigger than myself. I know the feeling all too well. But this year offered me something new: Perspective. So I did an experiment. I experimented what it would be like to consciously give my efforts and then detach from the outcome; consciously invest my time and energy whole-heartedly, and actually have fun during the process even though the end result was no longer in my hands. Amazingly enough - MORE THINGS HAVE COME MY WAY. I'm not even joking. So friends, give it a shot. Enjoy the journey. Experiment. See what happens to your experience of life and the results you get.
