Vilma Robinson and Erick McLarly were fast asleep inside a residence in the Eight Mile Community when the echo of gunshots startled them out of their slumber. Before they could dive for cover under the bed, they had been shot. Luckily, neither of them was fatally injured. But what could have triggered the predawn ambush? According to police, forty-eight-year-old Robinson told them that she had a recent altercation with an unnamed individual whom they are now seeking as a prime suspect. As many as five bullets perforated the exterior walls of the house, entering from the rear of the bedroom and exiting through the side walls nearby.
