MIDDLETOWN, Ohio (WKRC) - DNA results confirm that the remains of a woman found in Moraine are that of a Middletown woman reported missing in 2017. Investigators always believed the remains were that of Michelle Burgan, 47. Burgan was last seen in May 2017. Burgan's remains were found behind a home in Moraine in September. The home belonged to Gilbert Revere. Investigators had learned Burgan may have been with Revere around the time she disappeared. Revere is charged with tampering with evidence, abuse of a corpse and failure to report a death. Investigators say he wrapped her body in a tent and covered it with rocks. He has pleaded not guilty. "All of the evidence indicated that we had recovered Michelle Burgan's remains, but the DNA test results now officially confirm it," said Moraine Police Chief Craig Richardson. "We continue to urge anyone with information about Michelle's death to please contact us at 937-535-1166." Burgan was one of four women who disappeared from Middletown under suspicious circumstances from May 2016 to May 2017. The other three are still missing. Brandy English, 43, has been missing since May 11, 2016; Amber Flack, 32, has been missing since September 1, 2016; and Melinda Miller, 49, has been missing since February 19, 2017.
