The U.S. has released a video purporting to show air strikes its forces carried out in Libya, allegedly killing more than 80 ISIL militants. The U.S. says the attacks took place on Wednesday night, targeting militants' camps just outside Sirte. The U.S. has been monitoring the sites over the past few weeks -- after ISIL was driven out of Sirte. U.S. Defence Secretary Ash Carter says some of the militants are believed to have been plotting attacks in Europe
