A Golden Retriever has Lyme Disease - Jan 20, 2014, 9 am Two interns helped to video this dog with shifting-leg lameness. One lady will be going to 2nd year Vet studies in Muroch University. The other lady has completed her A levels in RJC. The dog was given oral doxycylcine for the last 7days when she came in for lethargy and swollen perineal area and left hind limb. At that time blood test showed high total white cell count and neturophils but there was no kidney disease. Now blood test show both. The dog was lethargic and the hind limb swelling was worrisome for the owner. So, I asked the dog to come in for a review and blood test. Please see FINAL VIDEO AT: https://youtu.be/kZwlKA-nmeg
