Hope for the Holidays: Free event raises money for those who need mental health help

CINCINNATI (WKRC) - You are invited to get some gift ideas, go shopping and support those coping with mental health concerns as part of the event "Hope for the Holidays." 

If you are looking for a few last-minute gift ideas and want to help a good cause, Hope for the Holidays is a special event at Richter& Phillips Jewelers on Main Street in downtown Cincinnati on Tuesday from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

It will feature jewelry, fun and games that will benefit the Lindner Center of Hope in Mason.

Rick Fehr, Debbie Davis and Ruthie Keefe came to Local 12 to talk more about the center Thursday. The center offers mental health help for everything from depression to eating disorders.

The proceeds from this event help fund services there that are much needed -- often for people who need financial assistance to get the help they need.

The event is free and everyone is invited. There's food, fun, giveaways and the proceeds benefit High Hopes and the Lindner Center of Hope.
