Terry's Turf Club announces it is closing

EAST END, Ohio (WKRC) - Terry's Turf Club, a burger joint in the East End that has been featured on a number of national television shows, announced on its Facebook page that it is closing, saying the owner is "retiring."

In addition to a number of specials being announced, the post ended with "all the staff thank the customers for the last 12 years of patronage."

The restaurant's owner, Terry Carter, was under fire in October after he was accused by an ex-employee, a woman, of saying sexist remarks after firing her. The ex-employee recorded her confrontation with Terry immediately after being fired, saying she did so because she felt uncomfortable.

No set date was given for the restaurant's closure.
