For the latest news across Belize, visit: http://edition.channel5belize.com/ Opposition Leader John Briceño is embarking on a country-wide visit which he has dubbed as a ‘listening tour.’ His first stop is in Dangriga tonight which forms part of the southern caucus that recently came out saying ‘NO’ to the I.C.J. The purpose is to feel the people’s pulse on taking Guatemala’s maritime, insular and territorial claim on Belize to the I.C.J. Based on the general sentiment of the people and some P.U.P.’s area representatives and standard bearers; Briceño says that the tour will help to better inform the party’s position on the I.C.J. Briceño also raised the issue of a postponement of the April tenth 2019 referendum. Today, Deputy Prime Minister Patrick Faber was asked about the Opposition’s tour and the date for the referendum.
