MASON, Ohio (WKRC) - Students at Mason High School are helping spread some holiday cheer by providing gifts to kids at Children's Hospital.

School staff worked with hospital staff to identify children and families in need of support.

More than 115 homeroom classes wrapped gifts and loading them onto trucks for delivery to the hospital.

"The joy of providing them with a Christmas because no parent plans to have their child in the hospital on Christmas day, so it's very special for us, and it means a lot to us to be able to provide a Christmas that's special to them and they'll remember forever," said senior Kirsten Riley.

Student government helps organize the annual event.
