Sea Lions in Astoria Oregon 2/22/13 if there were better haul outs that provide actual respite for these animals maybe they could sleep better. Instead they have a constant barrage of human interference.Humans are the annoying ones because the Sea lions are just being sea lions and they are hassling nobody but each other. The Marine Mammal Protection Act must be enforced for these animals to survive the onslaught of bad human behavior. The constant harassment for needing a place to sleep and the unjust killing of family members and friends for eating fish must end. Fish for all Sea Lions. Fish for all wildlife must be allocated. Humans must not be able to steal all the fish for themselves from one of the biggest rivers in North America and call themselves sustainable fish managers. SLDB 2013.
