Small dc motor wind turbine

Warning: A fast spinning metal blade can be dangerous. For your safety, do not replicate the sequence represented in this video. Got some wind tonight so I thought I'd see how this small wind turbine would turn in the wind instead of wind from a fan. It did very well outside with the actual wind. It performed better with the fan giving the wind turbine a steady wind. It easily reaches 3 volts and can output more than 6 volts. I stuck the Epson printer motor into a pvc pipe and attached a 3 volt white led just so I can tell when it'll reach 3 volts. To be of any use, a dc voltage step up or step down converter is needed to output the correct voltage for charging batteries or other uses. This incomplete wind turbine still needs a pivot and a tail and the necessary wiring.
