PNM's Women's League Express Disappointment On Devant Maharaj's Behaviour

The condemnation from the posting of the Prime Minster's personal phone number on social media continues. Devant Maharaj publishes the Prime Minister's private mobile number and encouraged persons to call it. The PNM's National Women's League in expressing disappointment notes that the behavior of Devant Maharaj is an attempt to keep his name relevant in the political landscape. The Women's League wants to take a minute and consider that the Prime Minister is a servant of the people and that Dr. Rowley has always made himself available to the public. The League is calling on the Opposition Leader to condemn this latest gambit and says any failure to do so would indicate that it was done under her instructions. Meanwhile, the Public Relations Officer for the People's National Movement Laurel Lezama-Lee Sing is questioning the silence of the opposition party on the matter. She says her party is horrified and disgusted by what she calls the repulsive and reckless behaviour continuously exhibited by UNC spokesperson and former Cabinet Member Devant Maharaj.
