Previously unreleased video from : 8/27/14 The Sea lions are in severe distress in the East Mooring Basin Astoria Oregon after being trapped by ODFW' and PSMFS employees. Terror ensues and these animals get hurt. SLDB observers have witnessed many animals linger in pain and bleeding on the docks from their state inflicted wounds after being trapped and branded. Human's poaching ESA fish is a crime, and sea lion sustenance is not. The Columbia River Dogs need more protection from NOAA not less. We all want our children to learn to share and to be nice to animals. Another good reason to contact: Donna Wieting Director of Protected Resources NOAA Ask her to please pull the permit for the "lethal take" of sea lions on the Columbia River for eating fish.
