There’s a fresh coat of powder in the Sierra Monday after a storm moved through the region. The spring snowfall was welcomed by businesses along the summit, still trying to overcome a tough season in sales after a late start to winter weather. Resorts like Heavenly, Boreal and Soda Springs Mountain resorts are riding out their final week of the season. Squaw Alpine Meadows plans to stay open through Memorial Day, weather permitting.
