Folsom barber continues decades-old tradition

A decades-old tradition lives on at a Folsom barber shop. Barber Randy Boxell cut the hair of every Folsom police chief since he opened in 1977. However, when he found out that Chief Cynthia Renaud -- the department’s first female chief -- accepted a position as the chief of the Santa Monica Police Department, Boxell knew he had to meet her. On Tuesday, Renaud dropped by Boxell’s barber shop.
