Six years after its revolution, Tunisia seems ready to turn the page on longtime autocrat Zine El-Abidine Ben Ali, who fled the country during that upheaval.  

But for some lawmakers, closing the book on the Ben Ali era means granting amnesty to countless businessmen who acquired billions of dollars in illicit funds during his reign. But thousands of Tunisians have rejected the very idea of amnesty. They support the Prime Minister's anti-corruption efforts, but not policies that will forgive past economic crimes. We debate whether this bill will inject much needed cash into the Tunisian economy or if it's pardoning a corrupted class that will go back to business as usual.
