HAMILTON, Ohio (WKRC) -- A Hamilton couple, accused of abandoning their adopted son, are now trying to get him back.Cleveland and Lisa Cox had a judge declare the 9-year-old boy as their dependent. They tried to return the child to Butler County Children's Services, saying he was a threat to their family. As a result, they were charged with non-support of a dependent. The charge against the father was dropped and the mother pleaded guilty to a lesser charge. She received a suspended sentence. The family's attorney says the child is now getting the help he needs and the Coxes are seeking to reunite with him.
