Day 3 of 12 Days of Christmas Crafts with 3and3quarters Inspiration: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/31384528626945002/ Step-by-Step Instructions... 3D Paper Tree Card You will need... * Double sided Cardstock * Blank card * Sewing machine & thread * Lead pencil * Ruler * Paper Scissors Step 1: Begin by measuring your card. Transfer measurements, 1cm or so smaller than that of the card, onto the cardstock. Cut out a rectangular shape. Step 2: Mark the middle of the rectangle's shorter side and draw lines from the centre to the outer corners, creating a long triangle. Cut out. Step 3: Do the same for the other cardstock piece, taking about a quarter off the previous measurements. Step 4: Place the smaller triangle on top of the large one, open out the card and slowly sew down the middle on the sewing machine. Step 5: Snip off the threads and carefully fold the flaps upward, creating a 3D effect. Step 6: Leave as is or decorate to your hearts content! My Social Networks...
