The cookware material determines how evenly and quickly heat is transferred from the surface element to the pan bottom. Refer to your owner’s manual on what type of cookware is best when using the radiant cooktop. Using proper cookware is also very important when cooking on your radiant cooktop. The cookware should have a flat bottom and straight sides as well as a tight-fitting lid. The pan should not be warped because this could produce uneven cooking results. Make sure that the pan is well balanced and the way to the handle does not tilt the pan
Pan sizes should match the amount of food to be prepared. The size of the surface element should always match the pot or pan diameter to the elements surface diameter. The size of the pan should never exceed 1 ½” past the surface element cooking zone and should never be smaller than the element cooking zone.
