***Previously, unreleased SLDB video*** Early in the morning approximately 25-30 California sea lions were trapped and hot iron branded by ODFW in the East Mooring Basin in Astoria, Oregon on August 24 and 25, 2016 , SLDB observers report. This video is "part one" of a three part series. ________________________________________________________________ It is the sea lion that has the ancient relationship with the wild salmon that spans back for thousands of years on the Columbia River that the Dams, warm water , drought, clear cuts, toxics, habitat loss, thousands of blocked fish passages across the State, and the ever increasing harvest doesn't.
