We turn our eyes to the East
Where the light does rise
In God we trust, but the sun
We must learn to depend upon

Daily rising taken for granted
The source of all the sources we know
On our delicate, precision orbit
Around the golden nucleus

We just orbit around the golden nucleus
Orbit around the golden nucleus
Orbit around the golden nucleus
Orbit renowned only for carrying us

On our little Earth, spinning in space

Earth electron on precarious arc
So preciously measured for life
We live here on our delicate, precision orbit
Around the golden nucleus

We just orbit around the golden nucleus
Orbit around the golden nucleus
Orbit around the golden nucleus
Orbit renowned only for carrying us

Feel yourself spinning

Orbit around the golden nucleus
Orbit around the golden nucleus
Orbit around the golden nucleus
Orbit renowned only for carrying us
