So we've reached our final search for clear dark skies top of Jab Mountain West Virginia viewing Orion Nebula. After a few hours toughing out the heavy down pour of rain, it was time to go home. We went through $800 of tires up in smoke, the heat was so hot we had to back away our vehicles at least 10 ft from the bonfire. I tried to get a real close up of the burning tires, it was so hot my S5 video camera automatically shut off. The bonfire was very hot, it did burned reaching a height of 12 ft.
