UN representatives for Somalia, have reported great progress in the war against terror. Foreign Affairs Minister,Abdusalam Hadliye Omer, told the UN general assembly that Al Qaeda linked militant group Al- Shabaab could be militarily defeated.Omer says the terror group now controlled less than ten percent of the country. Although the insurgents continue to make sporadic attacks in the capital, much of its leadership has been eliminated in recent months. In efforts to restore peace, Somalia's government is trying to enhance its security and prevent new attacks
