SUN VALLEY - At approximately 1528, LAFD and LAPD responded to reports of a traffic collision with persons trapped. Arriving LAFD units found a Chevy Silverado, down in the wash off of Wheatland. Firefighters lowered down a ladder into the wash and helped the solo female occupant out of the wash. The victim was transported to Pacifica Of The Valley Hospital in fair condition. There is a curve in the road where the vehicle left the roadway and entered the wash. Speed may have been a factor in this crash. LAPD Valley Traffic is handling the incident.
