His resignation, we understand, took the ministry by surprise because it has only been about a year since he has been back following several years of study abroad. The C.E.O in the Ministry of Health was tight-lipped about Gough’s departure, only to say that his decision was personal and that he has gotten another job opportunity. Doctor Ramon Figueroa says that while Gough will be missed, the ministry will not be without the services of an epidemiologist.
