Kristaps Porzingis and Dirk Nowitzki worked out together in South Africa as part of the NBA Africa promotional tour. This is the first time that Porzingis and Nowitzki have gotten together and matched wits. Nowitzki is one of Kristaps’ idols. It is great to see that Kristaps is continuing to work hard on his game all season. He will need to because once Carmelo Anthony leaves the Knicks, it will be Kristaps Porzingis who will be the new King of New York!

In other news Kyrie Irving’s camp has stated that he will remain non-comittal to any team that trades for him. The Knicks should continue to stand pat and do not make any hasty trades. The best move for them will be to sign Kyrie as a free agent after the 2019 season.
