http://www.homebuildingandrepairs.com One of the biggest problems I have with the construction industry is the information I received from magazines, books and even from professional contractors. Some of the advice that I received isn't correct and should be avoided at all costs. Most of the information available today about home construction, remodeling and home building is correct, but the information that's wrong, often creates problems for inexperienced do-it-yourselfers and handyman. You should doublecheck the information that you've received, by doing a little more research, before applying anyone's construction advice, including the advice that I'm giving you. Sometimes the advice that you receive applies on the West Coast of the United States but not on the East Coast. I'm not suggesting that you have to doublecheck every little bit of information that you receive while learning about construction, but if it's something important, it wouldn't be a bad idea to get some sort of verification from another professional in the industry.
