Must watch if you are looking for motivation or inspiration and you are going through some tough times. Bad things don't happen to you, they happen for you. A lot of people fail to realize this, believe me I know how hard it can be in the moment, but we all need to control our perception so we can achieve the best version of ourselves possible. Its hard to learn how to get over negativity or how to overcome depression, but it starts with how you think, especially as it pertains to the “negative” things we experience in life. I had to make this video because I have been encountering a lot of people who are still living in the past or not maximizing their futures simply because of a couple of bad things in the past. Like I said in the video, some people think they are cursed and that greatness or wealth will never be possible for them. That is simply not true. When doors close, it is so another can open. Cliché right? But seriously, its hard to realize it in the moment of something not going as planned, but some things didn’t happen for us so we can have better opportunities down the line. Its hard to get motivated or find motivation when things aren’t going your way, but if you simply direct your energy towards thinking about how this door closing is setting you up for success than focusing on what you didn’t get, it will make a worlds difference. 

I don’t want to keep ranting as I explain it all in the video, but simply, this is where I get one of my biggest advantages. I can control my thoughts and harness negativity to work in my favor. I am human just like any of you guys, I go through some difficult situations and I have had my fair share in the past. I get negative and discouraged, but I always find motivation in my failures because I know they are setting me up for something even better. If that isn’t inspiring I don’t know what is. Just look back at your life, where would you be if certain doors didn’t close? Would you be the same person? Getting one small opportunity may have led you to miss the big one you got. So don’t be short sighted and kill the negativity!
