How would you like this to be your fate for merely eating breakfast? Branded with hot irons and killed for eating 1% of the spring run-- marine mammals should NOT be subjected to this barbaric process, and than be targeted and killed for eating fish. Columbia River Sea lions are unjustly being scape goated by a very greedy industry.Humans have other food choices--Sea Lions do not ! It is time for the biggest river extractor to correct the error of their ways-- if they truly want to save the salmon. When sport fishermen exclusively grant themselves the right to target and kill 2% of the ESL salmon and 16% of the hatchery fish there is something stinky going-- on here
