American Cruise Lines Adding 2nd River Cruise Ship to Line Aida Orders New LNG Powered Ship. With Carnival's Aida Cruise Lines ordering a new 180,000 ton LNG Powered cruise ship it will mean that Carnival will have 20 new ships on order for the 10 different brands they operate worldwide. Carnival operates 103 ships today and is the largest operator of cruise ships in the world. American Cruise Lines will take delivery of their second brand new river cruise ship in 2020. The ship will carry 65 crew and 200 passangers along rivers in the USA.
