60-year-old man dies in Baringo flooding

A 60 year old man has been confirmed dead after he was swept away by floods in Baringo South Sub-County.

The body of the man was found Wednesday afternoon after he was swept by flash floods.

According to a team from flood control under the ministry of water harvesting and storage authority, the impact of the floods has been increased by Perkerra River which has changed its course.

 More than 530 people have been displaced with some of the pupils forced to learn outside after their classes developed cracks which they fear might fall on the pupils.
