Repair Kenmore Dryer or Replace It?

Overview of maintenance and repairs made to a 25 year old Kenmore series clothes dryer to refurbish it to good working condition. The dryer was squeaking, so it was time to decide if I should repair it or replace it. The parts were available and not very expensive. The new appliances don't have the same quality as these older ones, it is often wise to fix an older appliance, especially if you can do your own repair work. I spent $64 on genuine Whirlpool parts. I replaced the belt, idler pulley, rear felt seal and front plastic ring bearing. If you need to decide on whether or not to repair a Whirlpool manufactured dryer this video will be helpful.
