Man accused of deadly shooting at Whitewater Township home indicted for murder

CINCINNATI (WKRC) - A man accused of shooting and killing a suspected drug dealer at his home in Whitewater Township has been indicted for murder.

A grand jury indicted John Heard for the murder of 26-year-old Andrew Naegle. Heard shot Naegele just before 1 a.m. on Dec. 12 at Heard's home on Ohio 128 near Cilley Road.

Heard told 911 that Naegele was a member of the Iron Horseman motorcycle club and he and someone else came to the home to "rough him up". He later admitted to Hamilton County deputies that he owed Naegele money for methamphetamine.

Heard wasn't allowed to have a gun due to a previous felony conviction in Arizona. 

Another person was in the Heard's home with Naegele. Deputies are still trying to track him down. A pickup truck was seen leaving Heard's home.

Heard is also charged with felonious assault and attempt. He's being held on a $250,000 bond.
