China steps up effort to curb trafficking and killing of animals

Each year over 30-thousand elephants are killed for their ivory tusks, with the biggest market demand coming from Asia. Trafficking of wildlife has also become a major concern. This begs the question of what role can China take in combating this dire situation, and what efforts can the country make to help protect these wild animals? CGTN reporter Zou Yun spoke with Kaddu Sebunya, the president of the African Wildlife Foundation, and got his thoughts on the issues.
